All of the items I thought there was no chance of finding used/pre-owned — a thermometer, condoms, a book that is in high demand, etc — were found through Bunz. Since it is a platform based on trading instead of paying cash, I was able to declutter items I no longer need for objects I actually wanted. I seriously doubt that this project would have been possible if I didn’t live in a city with Bunz.
Once I got over the awkwardness of asking friends and family if they had a (fill in the blank) they no longer want, I found that was a really convenient resource.
NOTE: This project took place during 2020, aka COVID times, so some resources that I would usually use (thrift stores) were not an option.
